Specially designed to help soothe and heal dry or chapped skin, superficial wounds and other irritations, Beaphar Wound Ointment Antiseptic for Dogs Cats & Small Animals is a must have for all loving pet owners.
Suitable for dogs, cats, birds and other small animals, the antiseptic ointment contains both Calendula and Aloe Vera. The Calendula works to sooth and support wound healing, whilst the Aloe Vera helps to calm and ease irritation caused by insect bites and other causes of itching or pain.
Supplied in a handy 30ml tube, the ointment is also proven to be effective in easing scaly face and scaly leg in birds. When treating such irritation, the affected area should be gently cleaned and then the ointment should be applied once a day for six days.
When it comes to wound healing or the treatment of other skin irritations, fur or feathers should be carefully cut away from the area in question and then the area should be gently cleaned. The ointment will then work best if applied with clean hands, two to four times per day until the wound is healed.
